CBP Names Winkowski as Acting Commissioner

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has named Thomas S. Winkowski as Acting Commissioner of CBP. Deputy Commissioner David Aguilar, who previously served in the role, recently announced his retirement. Winkowski previously served as Acting Chief Operating Officer. Kevin McAleenan, the Acting Assistant Commissioner for the Office of Field Operations, will serve as Acting Deputy Commissioner.
