CBP Postpones East Coast Trade Symposium

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced today that due to the government shutdown, it is postponing its 2013 East Coast Trade Symposium.  The symposium was scheduled to take place from October 24-25, 2013, in Washington, D.C.  According to an email distributed by CBP, the agency is still committed to hosting the event and plans on rescheduling at a later date.  Individuals who have already registered will receive a refund after the shutdown is over.
