Barnes/Richardson Secures Unanimous Dismissal by ITC

Barnes Richardson & Colburn, LLP, representing Chinese trade association China National Forest Products Industry Association (CNFPIA), has successfully convinced the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) to dismiss countervailing and antidumping duty investigations of Hardwood and Decorative Plywood from the People’s Republic of China.  In a unanimous decision, the Commission voted 5-0 that there is no material injury or threat of material injury to the domestic industry from imports of allegedly dumped and subsidized hardwood plywood.  Consequently, the investigations will be terminated immediately and no antidumping or countervailing duties will be imposed.
