TTIP Discussions To Take Place in Washington Next Week

USTR Michael Froman and European Trade Commissioner Cecilia Malmstrom will be holding meetings regarding the Translatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) in Washington from March 9 to 11. These meetings come on the heels of the 12th round of negotiations which took place in Brussels, last week.

Further rounds of negotiations are scheduled for April in the United States and for July in Brussels. Malmstrom is also scheduled to meet with FDA Commissioner Robert M. Califf, Deputy National Security Advisor Adewale Adeyemo, AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka, and members of Congress.
