Trade Subcommittee Schedules Ag Exports Hearing

The House Ways and Means Trade Subcommittee has scheduled a hearing examining agricultural export expansion, as well as existent foreign trade barriers. The hearing is to take place on June 14, 2016, and promises to focus on what approaches have worked for agricultural exports and explore the ways in which trade agreements facilitate them. Enforcement issues will also play a key role in the hearing proceedings, said Chairman Dave Reichert (R-Wash) in an official statement.
