Barnes/Richardson Partner Speaks on the Importance of Registering Trademarks to Combat Counterfeit Imports

NY based partner, Rick Van Arnam, was recently quoted in an article appearing in the Journal of Commerce concerning U.S. importers' need to not only register trademarks with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, but with U.S. Customs and Border Protection as well to properly fight potentially infringing imports at the border.  The article may be accessed here.
