More 301 Duties on China Expected

The Office of the United States Trade Representative has announced a proposal to modity the scope of products from China subject to duties imposed under Section 301. The proposal is to cover an additional $200 million in goods. The expanded list include many agricultural products, chemicals, plastic products, wood and leather products, paper, fabrics, and mechanical and electrical components. If the proposal is implemented, the goods on this list will be subject to a 10% ad valorem duty. The full notice and list are available here
