House Trade Subcommittee to Hold Hearing on Panama FTA

Congressman Kevin Brady (R-TX), Chairman of the House Ways and Means Subcommittee on Trade, announced that the Subcommittee will hold a hearing on the pending trade agreement with Panama at 2pm on March 30, 2011. This hearing will be the second in a series of three hearings on the pending trade agreements with Colombia, Panama, and South Korea. The hearing is expected to address the benefits the Panama FTA would bring to the U.S. economy, national security and geopolitical implications, and Panama’s tax transparency.
