CBP Sets July 26th Deadline for Byrd Amendment Claims

May 31, 2011

On May 27, 2011, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) issued a notice in the Federal Register stating that any domestic producer entitled to file a claim under the Continued Dumping and Subsidy Offset Act of 2000 (CDSOA), more commonly known as the Byrd Amendment, must do so before July 26, 2011. Certifications received after July 26th will be denied, making claimants ineligible for the distributions. The Federal Register notice also includes a list of all harmed domestic producers who are entitled to a claim under the CDSOA.
