January 2, 2013

On January 1, 2013, House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Dave Camp (R-MI) introduced Miscellaneous Tariff Bill (MTB) legislation in the U.S. House of Representatives. The Miscellaneous Tariff Bill legislation, referred to as the “U.S. Job Creation and Manufacturing Competitiveness Act of 2013” (H.R. 6727), includes provisions from more than 2,000 bills introduced in the House and Senate during the MTB process. With the 112th Congress rapidly coming to a close, the bill will likely be reintroduced in the next session of Congress.
