CBP to Hold Webinar on Manifesting and Entry of Residue Found in Instruments of International Traffic

On April 16, 2013, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will hold a webinar on CBP’s National Customs Automation Program Test concerning “Manifesting and Entry of Residue found in Instruments of International Traffic (IITs).” The one-hour webinar is primarily designed for companies that may be eligible to participate in the test. CBP subject matter experts will provide an overview of the key features of CBP’s Protection National Customs Automation Program Test concerning manifesting and entry of residue found in IITs. The presentation will focus on providing background on the Residue Pilot and information regarding the calculations used by CBP to determine percentages by mode, technical issues, user fees, issues on bonding and record keeping, roll out of the pilot, enforcement and planned outreach. There will also be time for a question and answer session.

The webinars will be held at 1pm and at 2:30pm on April 16, 2013. The webinars will also be recorded for later viewing.
