AAEI Calls for Further CBP Regulations Clarifying TFTA Drawbacks Process

June 7, 2016 -- Government officials and industry leadership called for additional CBP regulations clarifying the new drawback process at the American Association of Exporters and Importers annual conference. Recent customs reauthorization legislation still leaves ambiguities in the drawback process, as well as in the new law’s inclusion of manufacturing substitution drawback in the “lesser of” concept already existent.
