ITC Institutes 16-Year Ban on Indian Steel

The ITC decided to ban the import of all steel products made by Viraj Profiles, Ltd. of India, citing its inducement of an employee to steal industrial secrets from Valbruna Slater Stainless, an American company. Viraj’s related U.S. operations have also been placed under a cease-and desist order.
