Matt McGrath Speaks on 2008 Trade and Customs Developments in Washington

On October 24, Washington based partner Matt McGrath spoke at the International Trade Club of Chicago on the changing trade and customs landscape in Washington. During the presentation he on touched a variety legislative, administrative, and executive developments over the past six months, including trade preference programs, implementation of the Lacey Act and Consumer Products Safety Improvements Act, and the "10+2" Importer Security Filing program at CBP.  He also discussed the differences in trade policies between the Presidential candidates, and what each is likely to do if elected.  A copy of the slides that guided the discussion is available here.
