David Forgue Named Partner, Despina Keegan Joins as Counsel

The partners of Barnes, Richardson & Colburn are pleased to announce that David G. Forgue of the Chicago office has become a partner in the firm.  We are also pleased to announce that Despina Keegan has become of counsel in the New York Office.

David G. Forgue

Mr. Forgue has been a lawyer with Barnes/Richardson since 1997. He is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the University of Illinois College of Law. While in law school, he received the Harno Award for Excellency in Oral Advocacy.

Mr. Forgue is admitted in the State of Illinois, the U.S. Court of International Trade and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. He is Deputy Editor of the International Law News, a publication of the American Bar Association's Section of International Law. He is fluent in German.Despina Keegans. Keegan brings a wide range of valuable experience to her position as of counsel.  She has previously worked in private practice, managed her own international business consulting firm, and served as an intern at the U.S. Court of International Trade.She has represented clients on issues relating to customs, trade, food and drug, and consumer safety.  She is admitted to practice both in New York and Connecticut as well as in the U.S. Court of International Trade and the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Ms. Keegan speaks Greek and Spanish.
