ITC Institutes Investigation of the Effects of NAFTA Tariff Elimination

May 26, 2017 -- The ITC published an institution notice for the proposed investigation into the probable economic effects of NAFTA tariff elimination for currently dutiable items; The USTR requested the investigation last week.  

Public comments are solicited, and a public hearing has been scheduled for June 20, 2017.  All pre-hearing briefs and statements must be submitted by June 13, 2017.  Appearance requests are due to the ITC by June 7, 2017.  All other written submissions regarding this investigation must be filed no later than June 26, 2017.
