CBP Solicits Comments Regarding Potential Regulatory Cutbacks or Changes

The CBP published a notice on Monday, September 12 requesting public comments on which of its regulations are redundant, outdated, ineffective, or otherwise deserve amendment or repeal. This comment period comprises part of the agency’s implementation of the Presidential Executive Order 13771 released last January. All comments must be submitted through the Federal rulemaking portal by December 11, 2017.
