New Dispute Against Chinese Agricultural Subsidies Filed by U.S. Government

September 13, the U.S. government filed a WTO dispute against Chinese agricultural subsidies, alleging that Chinese government sponsored “market price support programs” have enabled extreme overproduction of rice, corn, and wheat and, ultimately, have severely distorted their export prices.
