DESCRIPTION OF MERCHANDISE
Merchandise included in this petition is defined as ball bearings and parts thereof produced in China. Ball bearings are components that enable machinery to move at extremely high speeds and carry heavy loads.
The requested scope includes all antifriction bearings. These bearings and parts thereof utilize balls as the rolling element. These products are classified as antifriction balls, ball bearings with integral shafts and parts thereof, ball bearings (including thrust, angular contact, and radial ball bearings) and parts thereof, and housed or mounted ball bearing units and parts thereof.
Further, size or precision grade does not preclude any bearing from this petition. In addition, this petition with the exception of unfinished parts that are subject to heat treatment after importation covers finished and unfinished parts. Moreover, the ultimate use of a bearing does not influence whether the bearing is covered by the petition.
