ITA Implements 1st Organizational Change in 30 Years

The U.S. Department of Commerce's International Trade Administration (ITA) announced today its organizational change to its business division.  ITA consolidated its previous four business units into three: Global Markets, Industry and Analysis, and Enforcement and Compliance.  The Global Market bureau aids U.S. businesses in exporting or increasing sales to international markets.  The Industry and Analysis unit provides economic expertise to U.S. businesses who seek international trade advice.  Lastly, the Enforcement and Compliance unit implements antidumping and countervailing duty laws and administers the Foreign Trade Zone Program.
