Update on Electronic FTZ CBPF-214
TweetNov. 11, 2005
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has issued instructions for the approaching rollout of its electronic FTZ-CBPF-214, to software vendors, self programmed importers, brokers and other companies wanting to develop their own software. Any of the above parties, who are not currently ABI participants, should file a Letter of Intent (LOI) and a Interconnection Security Agreement (ISA) with the Client Representative Branch of the CBP if interested. A Customs Client Representative will then be assigned to your company and will serve as technical advisor during the implementation.
Companies using a Customs Broker are not required to file the above. If your company is currently an ABI participant, you should contact your assigned client representative directly to indicate your intent to participate.
