CBP Agrees to Settle NAFTA Recordkeeping Case Against Ford Motor

According to reports from industry sources, CBP today agreed to voluntarily dismiss pursuant to a settlement agreement, the $42 million NAFTA recordkeeping case brought against Ford Motor Company in Texas.  Both CBP and Ford have agreed to waive all claims against the other.  Background information on this case and CBP's NAFTA recordkeeping penalties may be accessed here.
