TX Court Expands Importer's Duty to Review Supporting Documents for NAFTA Certificates of Origin

A Texas Court recently rejected Ford Motor Company's ("Ford") challenge to U.S. Customs & Border Protection's ("CBP") demand that Ford produce supporting documents relating to products imported under NAFTA claims. This decision expands an importer's duty to review the supporting documents provided by suppliers for NAFTA certificates of origin.
